BULJONGPAR / lite interessant par i skøyteløp. Uttrykket oppsto i de gode, gamle skøyteløp-dager i 1960-årene. Hvis det kom et par man ikke festet altfor store forhåpninger til, fikk man tid til å kjøpe buljong. I dag kan ordet også brukes om et kjedelig par i selskapslivet eller i konkurranser. «Buljongpar» (buljong=broth, par=pair) is a Norwegian phrase originated in the good old skating days in the 1960s. If one of the racing pairs were boring, the audience had time to go and buy broth. Today, the word can be used about a boring couple at social gatherings.
